My Background and Why I Practice This Way

I earned my undergraduate degree from Coe College in Cedar Rapids and my law degree from the University of Nebraska College of Law. After law school, I came back to Eastern Iowa — this is home, and these are the families I wanted to serve.

For the past eight years, I've focused exclusively on estate planning, uncontested probate, and uncontested adult guardianship. That focus is intentional. When you work with me, you're not getting a general practitioner who dabbles in wills between car accident cases. Estate planning is all I do, which means I'm good at it — and I stay current on Iowa law so you don't have to.

My practice is built around a simple idea: the people who need estate planning most are often the ones most intimidated by lawyers. My job is to make this easy for you.
